I dumped both of them and found a doctor that would treat my pain as well as my RA. I sure wish you had more options. I dumped both of them and found a doctor that would treat my pain as well as my RA. I sure wish you had more options. Well, luckily on my next appointment my hand was horribly swollen, red and hot and hurt like the devil. He got to see it firsthand and now he gives me pain meds when I ask. It is the hope that once we start a DMARD, the disease will be controlled and we won't need pain meds.
