Whooping cough epidemic and vaxes-Dr. JM please

Hi Dr. JM,

Both of the very wholistic pediatricians I see have begun recommending the DPT

shot this

year for kids because they have already seen a lot of whooping cough cases. Dr.

Jay Gordon,

who is pretty anti-vaccine just sent out a note to his patients, saying he has

already seen 5

confirmed cases, and 12 suspected. He pointed out that it is a hard and long

lasting illness,

and that it can have repercussions for months after when one gets the slightest

illness.

My son is completely unvaxed. But he is also a HFA. I really don't want him to

have any

shots, but I am nervous about this situation.

I'd love your feedback and opinion.
