Guest guest
I apologize that i haven't been posting in awhile, but the past few months have been a maze of doctors and I FINALLY got the correct diagnosis : Ostoarthritis. Bad news is that the weight that I have been taking off since my diabetic diagnosis seems to be making the pain worse and not better. The rumetologist (sorry for the mispelling) has put me on Celebrex and tramadol, which has been improving the pain but not resolving the pain. The docotr said that i am on the right theraphy, but xrayed my knees to discuss the possibility of doing steriod shots in my knees. Has anyone had this done? Im nervous, espically that i heard that doing these shots could play havoc with my blood sugar. The other problem is that i worry that I could have more problems that pain relief with simple things like getting around, which i can do stiffly, but still under my own power. any suggestion/advice would be welcomed. wishing you all pain free days, CC
