Authia Cream

My 2 year old son has been dx with autism. He's non-verbal and spends

most of his time stimming in his own world. We're currently on many

waiting lists to begin ABA therapy. He's been GF/CF/SF for nearly a

month now and we have seen our DAN!. He's now on the myriad of

supplements, though I'm eager to start chelation. I've been reading

about the wonderful success of Authia Cream. Would this be a safe form

of chelation that I can start my son on? If so, where do I purchase it

and what is the protocol for applying the cream to a 2 year old (36

lbs.). If I need to sit tight a bit longer for 's best outcome,

then so be it. But, I feel so helpless doing nothing when I am

convinced that he has heavy metal poisoning. Any help and advice would

be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, so much.

You can start Authia anytime; no testing is necessary. It can be purchased from

Ecological Formulas or other places on the internet. For a child this small, I

would use 1/5th of a tsp twice daily rubbed on his tummy. Dr. JM

I have been told by Dr McCandless to give my daughter 1/4tsp of TTFD cream

twice a day.

The only TTFD I have been able to get hold of is Westlake Labs Authia cream

(50mg/ml).

So I have three questions:-

1) Is the dose the same for Authia cream as it is for TTFD?

2) Is there an easier way of 'guestimating' the amount of cream, ie 'one

inch' from the tube?

3) which part of my daughter should I apply it to?

Thanks

Authia is TTFD, just made not to smell so badly as the compounded version. I

like to apply it to the tummy (near the liver, not that it matters for

transdermal) and it can be washed off after 1/2 hour if you don't like the

smell. Dosing is the same for either the Authia or the compounded version.

Measure out 1/4 tsp and then you can guesstimate how much that is when squeezed

out. Not to worry, it is not toxic. Dr. JM
