Do you have urgency or frequency at all? Does urinating help your discomfort? I have both I.C. and VV and it's difficult sometimes for me to distinguish between the two. However I do get increased frequency and when I try to go I sometimes spasm and have to push. Interstitial Cystitis Association - What is IC? - Index I hope this will help you decide if you need to consult an urologist. Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, I did biofeedback with a method very similar to Dr. Glazer's protocol. I used an internal sensor and exercised for 20 minutes twice a day. At first I used the sensor that looks like a tampon applicator. Do you think you could use that? Do tampons hurt you? I just hurt most all of the time, but I can get a tampon in without any pain usually. It is the string that irritates me. Perhaps you should try the Glazer protocol.
