Suzanne,

I am sorry you have been in pain for so long. You didn't mention if you were

having any bladder symptoms. Do you have urgency or frequency at all? Does

urinating help your discomfort? I have both I.C. and VV and it's difficult

sometimes for me to distinguish between the two. However I do get increased

frequency and when I try to go I sometimes spasm and have to push. <A

I hope this will help you decide if you need to consult an urologist.

Take care

Hi Suzanne,

I did biofeedback with a method very similar to Dr. Glazer's protocol. I

used an internal sensor and exercised for 20 minutes twice a day. At first I

used the sensor that looks like a tampon applicator. Do you think you could

use that? Do tampons hurt you? I just hurt most all of the time, but I can

get a tampon in without any pain usually. It is the string that irritates me.

Perhaps you should try the Glazer protocol.

Sandi
