Thank you , I am hoping to lose more weight. The more

weight I lose the less pressure there will be on my lower back

which gives me a lot of trouble. I only wish Prednisone wouldn't

cause you to gain weight. It is truly a " wonder " drug but is a

dangerous drug to take. There are times I suffer death since

getting off it but I take Darvocett 200 mg normally once a day

then Motrin 800 mg later in the evening. I can't tell that the

Naprosyn I take is doing any good at all. That is another thing

I am going to talk to my Dr about tomorrow............Joyce M

, I lost weight just from getting off Prednisone. My Dr had me

taking it say like two days in a row then quit when I couldn't stand

the pain. I am wondering if I need an xray of my lower back as I

also hurt in the spine although most of the pain is on each side of the

spine.........Joyce M

Prednisone. I am slowly being tapered off of it myself right now, and

am looking forward to losing some of the 30+ pounds I've gained in the

past 2 months since I started taking it.

I can relate. I have gained 40 pounds since August.

> I am so grateful to the relief

that the Prednisone provided me with....but on the other hand I resent

how dependant my body had become on using it.

I really believe that if the CEO of a big drug company came down with an

autoimmune disease (or his wife, sister or mother), they would find something

that helps without all these dang side effects!
