hugs,

Sundra

sundra, thank you. i have seen this list but the problem with it is that alot of this doc you have to pay for out of pocket...at least the NJ ones... and i cant. my only income is disability income. i just dont have the money....lee

i know....and thats not the only one...there is:

First Visit - 1 hour consultation/examination - $200.00 due at the time of initial visit. No insurance assignment will be accepted for the first visit fee. A receipt for your possible insurance re-imbursement will gladly be provided. Certain insurance companies, such as Medicare and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Sheild do not cover this initial fee.

too... give me a break lee

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Re: Good Doctor List/Lee

Good Grief! That is awful!Sundra1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.

I feel so lucky I found a good doc who also understands finances of those of us without a medical degree. He is just an MD on paper for insurance covers everything except the really far out treatments that actually cost the doctor money. He has an infra-red sauna I have been dying to try. I just have a $5 co-pay. He also does vitamin IV drips which are very helpful to fibro patients. I need to get in to do one of those! And he has a nutritional specialist who sells all kinds of nutritional supplements in an office next door. But I did go through nearly hundreds of doctors before I found him. Just goes to show you.. you can find your help.. eventually. You just need to find the strength to look. Before I found him I was about to go to another local doctor with fees like we've been seeing here.
