Guest guest
Good morning, everybody! My name is Di, and I just subscribed to this list. I am a 50-year-old former elementary school teacher married almost 17 years to a high school vice principal. I have 2 children - a 15-year-old son (Chris) and a 9-year-old daughter (Judy). I'm a stay-at-home mom right now, but call substitute teachers for our school district, and was recently hired to be the editor for an on-line low carb store. (Two jobs I can do without even getting dressed. Life doesn't get any better! LOL!) I am not a diabetic, nor pre-diabetic, but I have number of diabetics subscribe to my low carb support list on OneList and I would like to learn more about the day-to-day maintenance and control of diabetes so that I can become more knowledgeable. For those who are interested (and I know that not all of you will be), I run a low volume (1-2 digests a month), non-posting low carb recipe list called CelebrateLowCarb. Celebrate LowCarb list I use to distribute low carbohydrate holiday/celebration recipes and menus. Most of the recipes are, of course, simple enough to use for every day as well. I have already posted and in the " Files " section of the list recipes for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Super Bowl Sunday, a Winter Picnic Valentine's Day, Lent, Mardi Gras, St. 's Day, Passover, Easter, and Cinco de Mayo, a Memorial Day BBQ, and a Salad Days digest. Members can access them at any time. I'm currently working on recipes for a 4th of July PINC digest, which will come out around June 15th. For more information about CelebrateLowCarb go to: Click here: eGroups : CelebrateLowCarb I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.
