Guest guest
Hi my name is and I have been seeing my rheumatologist for 18 years and I have recmmended him to many people encluding family members and everyone is very happy with him. His name is Dr. G.Gelfand he has an office in Pico which I use and the number there is area code (562)861-0954 he also has an office in the city of Brea but I don't have the number there. I'm sure that you can call the other office for any information you may need. Good Luck and I hope that you will try him. <melmac2525@...> wrote: I am jumping back in the pool and trying another rheumatologist. I called and made the appointment today. The office staff said he requires referral from a primary care provider, but I explained I was already diagnosed before and sent to a rheumatologist, and I stopped going because he refused to treat me for rheumatoid arthritis unless I went on permanent disability. Until then, he kept insisting I come in any time I had swelling so he could look at it, and he kept testing me for Lupus and telling me I didn't have any of the signs of Lupus. I couldn't miss work every day and I couldn't have knuckles the size of walnuts every day, so I went back to my PCP and got a prescription for Celebrex. The woman left the phone for a while, then came back and said, " Okay, we can give you an appointment. " So now, I hope this guy is good, and not like the last person I saw. Does anyone have any experience with any rheumatologists in Orange County, California? --------------------------------- Celebrate 's 10th Birthday!
