Guest guest
HI, Been gone for a while, but still here. We moved in January and since have messed with my meds, as well as other things. My Daugter Krystle, is graduating from Navy Boot camp on the 13th. We are soo proud of her. Not to mention following her step dads footsteps. Her biological asshole isnt going to chcago for her graduation. he is too busy going away to hawaii with wife number 3. which, I expected. hell he didnt make either of our kids high school graduations. So we go next week for 5 days. We moved up to the mountains out here in san diego. The house is great built in the 1930's. Even had some snow! have had some bad days cause of the cold but I like the quiet so I deal. We also have added some new family additions. we have 3 puppies! in December we got Fergus a Shar Pei mix. can be a bully but getting better. Then we got him a playmate. That was PRincess Sophia. We let my daughter name her before she left for bootcamp. She is 6 months old and a black lab /irish setter. A sweetie. planning on training her as a service dog for me, just got to break her jumping habit. Well, that was all we planned on having. but, had puppy kindergarden one weekend and they had an adoption going on at the petstore. they had bull mastiff mix pups. well that was what hubby had wanted all along. when he told me he had that two year old face of the kid in the toystore wanting a certain toy. so we filled out the app but cause we had 2 puppies they turned us down which, I dont get. he was really disapointed so, I went searching.knew he wanted a bull but started looking at the different types of Mastiffs. I found one that was about a 4 hour drive for a pure bred Cane Corso Mastiff, aka ItaLian Mastiff. emailed the breeder and they emailed us a few pics. Fell in love. he is whats called brown brindle in color. The only condition was I get to name him. Huby said ok. well, I decided to be a smart ass. since we had 2 dogs the first with one name and the second with two, so he had to get 3. so named him Zeus Maximillian Hercules. When picked him up saw mom and dad well, dad was oh about 250 and mom 135. He was pick of the litter and only one left. The breeder wanted to keep him but as he grew, his wife realized he was bigger than dad at the same age. So, wife said has to go. Lucky us! he is now 4 1/2 mths old and 46lbs! Got him for Earl but, he is attached to me. our trainer said honestly, he would likely be a great service dog or get a female cane corso. because of his size will be able to support my weight as far as getting up and down, etc. So not sure which gonna do. Did tell Earl that maybe after he gets out of Navy, we could either Breed Cane Corso's or have a cane corso resque. They really fit there names, the gentle giants. having a few potti training problems but just being patient. have a friend house sitting while we are gone and puppy sitting. I know im gonna have seperation anxiety when leave him though. will be calling home to check on him. THey have soo helped me as far as my depression though. was pretty much staying in bed before the move, just didnt want to get up. with them. have to. Zeus usually sleeps in our bed, gets a bit crowded when they all do! in the mornings before earl leaves for work takes them all outto go potti then puts them all up on the bed with me. THey have been probably the best medicine of all. were tring to drop the neurontin and swith to the lyrica, seems to be working well though., Also put me on Effexor for the depression. pain has been ok but in the mornings when cold is hard. some days still in bed till like 11 but force myself to get up. doing some sewing and litle things to try and keep busy. Hope everyone is doing good and pain is staying under control. wondering if anyone else is having a good result with the lyrica. right now taking both but since started taking the lyrica the spasms have really seemed to e under control. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Nice to meet you as I don't think we have met! Or I just don't remember since you haven't posted in a while. It sure sounds like you have a lovely home up in the mountains. How peaceful! You're blessed! I'm sorry your pain was increased with the weather. We just had a cold front come through, still in the middle of it now and my body was screaming as well. We are having Spring return to us the first part of the week, so once I'm over that change back, I'll be ok I hope! It's been so bad that the pain meds haven't even fazed the pain. Congrats to your daughter! My son is on his way to Chicago come May 23rd for boot camp in the Navy! I'm so proud of him, yet I don't want to be away from him. But he has to grow and he is so excited, I'd never express my not wanting him to go other than letting him know how much I'll miss him. He has been spending LOTS of time with me since he enlisted. He even spent the night last night and spending the night at my sisters tonight. He plans to move out of his apartment a month early and come back home so we can have more time together before he goes. I'm so happy about this. And it was his choice and idea to do so! Just warms my heart. Where will your daughter go next? As it sets right now, is suppose to go to Mississippi for " A " School for 16 wks. Then back here for a short time, then off to Hawaii. He will be so far away <sniffsniff> I will miss him so much! He has enlisted for 8 yrs. He is thinking of a career of 20 yrs in, but not sure yet, so he only bit off 8 to start with. It's a shame your ex won't be at her graduation That is a real shame. That happened to my ex with his parents. They were so selfish. They didn't want to be in the same room with each other so neither of them went It was so sad. Everyone had someone there except him. I know that had to hurt. We weren't together then. Another doggie lover! You have some big ones! I have a boxer, a black lab and a beagle. They are all my babies and sleep with me when Danny isn't home.
