Guest guest
Just tell the truth about your condition. When I went for my hearing, I had a calendar with each day covered with pain level, what I could and couldn't do, and anything someone had to do for me. I drove to the courthouse and told the judge so when I was asked. My reply was that I am going to do anything I can for myself. He liked that answer. Guest guest
Hi Dennis, Thanks for the advice. That's a great idea about the calender, I'm going to start one myself. I was also wondering about driving myself to the hearing. I was wondering should I or should I not? That's if I feel up to it that day anyway. But if I can, I guess it's no need to have someone else take me to try to push my situation. Like you said I'll just go in there with the truth. > Just tell the truth about your condition. Guest guest
Yeah Dennis I was thinking of taking my mother with me, just in case. And I was wondering about witnesses, so you can them in the room with you? I was gonna ask my attorney about that. I was also wondering should I bring up that I applied for SSI almost 10 years ago. I was having problems with my joints then as well, but had not been diagnosed with RA. I guess these are questions I need to has my attorney huh?
