I was forced to go to Indianapolis, a 1 1/2 hour drive on good days, to find a doctor who was willing to listen to me. Our family doctor, who was very good but not very knowledgeable, died in January and they have not replaced him yet. Most of the doctors in town are associated with the hospital, and our hospital, referred to as " Fatal Memorial " instead of Fayette Memorial, are a bunch of money- hungry ninnies. I do think you deserve better from a doctor, and to be told " I don't do pain " is ludicrous--what does he think RA is if not pain!! I hope you're able to find someone soon.
