Was told by my rheumatologist after I had it done call his office and set up a appointment called and the receptionist told me their is no way they can get me in till the 31 I called the nurses number and let her a message their is no way i can wait till the 31 i am in so much pain I can barely; put weight on it If it is a stress fracture wouldn't I be hurting it more walking on it and everything Sorry i am just very upset was hoping within a week or so I might find some relief Thanks for listening Angie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They can at least tell you what you need to do. You do need to stay off that foot. I will be thinking of you, prayers headed your way. I know that your upset and in pain, stressing. I think the hospital said they were going to send my family doctor a copy of the bone scan too so I'll have to call them and talk to them. You can't go that long without getting that foot checked out. I wonder if they would like to walk around like that? You just stay off it as much as you can. I know that's not always so easy, but do the best you can. I hope that you can get some answers soon. The way this works at my rheumy's is they take the message and give it to the doctor. The doctor calls at his convenience, but always that same day. I realize that all doctors are not this accessible, but it's worth trying. The doctor can get you in sooner than the receptionists that you talk to when you call.
