Guest guest
Tess, this was the first post I read this morning and you will never know how much this meant to me. Trying to get used to the patch and cutting down the oxy has not been fun. Until I get the knee and ankle operated on (still waiting) the pain is overwhelming me. Reading this post made me really stop and realize how fortunate I am, that even though I have to wait, at least I know that eventually I will be looked after, not like so many who just can't afford any type of health care. You are an inspiration to everyone on this list and I was thinking, for the benefit of the new members, you should tell your story of how you went from being confined to your home to where you are now, back in the work force. It is a story worth repeating, especially for those that are feeling ready to throw in the towel because they see a dark and dismal life ahead of them since being diagnosed.
