Guest guest Posted March 27, 2005 Report Share Posted March 27, 2005 Tess: I am doing a bit better today. I am very diligent about getting my pain meds every 4 hours or so. I have broken up my Prednisone to a morning and evening dose instead of taking it all at once - to help with the swelling. So far, so good. Broth is my best friend a the moment...and I would LOVE nothing more than salsa, pickles...and all the other stuff that would be painful to eat. I was so cranked up on pain meds on Thursday that I actually wanted to go home when they suggested it. I sat there in the hospital bed thinking " this wasn't as bad as everyone said it would be! " Here I was all cheeky - thinking that people were EXAGERATING about how terrible the whole experience was. Pain meds can really mess up logical thought process....can't they???
