, I don't think that anyone means that you by purpose

should have distributed the Happy99 virus. When it happens

it can happen for anyone - as I have understood it, without

knowing that is it happening. We are just trying to find out

where it startet. I could have been started by Mr. Ching

Chang in China or somewhere else. It would be good if

anyone on the list that has it are aware of what it is doing.

It's not a dangerous virus. Please see the short description

on the Happy99 virus below from Zdnet.com.

Regarding the addressbook if the feature is enabled in

Outlook Express, it will add all e-mail addresses that you

send an e-mail to it. For a long time I didn't notice that peoples

e-mail addresses whom I sended e-mails to were automatically

added to my address book. When I discovered it I disabled the

feature. So you can see how the virus can spread without we

are being aware of it. From Zdnet.com:

" Reports are going around about a program called Happy99 that is being

sent around by email and newsgroups. If you run the program attached to

the email it will replicate and attach itself to outgoing e-mail. This

particular program doesn't do any damage and infection is only

possible on Windows systems. "
