I havent written you lately so I didnt want you to think I forgot about you. I

have your surgery date on my calendar and I will try to post on the forum to

keep it going. I have been going to the chat room, but no one is there. Usually

you are on in the evening, right?

Ive been having a hell of a week. I think I am going through menopause, or

begininng menopause. I have hot and cold sweats, headaches, shakes, double over

with cramps and it hurts where my ovaries are. I dont want it to be menopause

because I am only 45. Today I had a headache that I took 2 excedrin, 1 demerol,

and 1 soma - all to no avail. These symptoms happen every time I have my period.

Sorry so graphic, but it is really concerning me. I dont want to take more

pills, but something has to give. Also, my primary doc does not prescribe pain

medication. She is afraid of the DEA. Its hard here in Colorado to find a

primary doc who does prescribe pain meds. Besides that, shes a really good dr.,

always listens instead of talking over me. And I have my pain doc. who, thank

god, takes care of me. But it really bothers me that she doesnt trust me. But I

have to keep thinking it is not just me, its all her patients and not to take it

personally.

Sorry for all of the complaining. What have you been up to? Are you excited

about your surgery? Has your pain been okay? I wish we had a hot tub, they

really help the pain. Now I hear Drs can write prescriptions for hot tubs. Dont

know if my insurance would buy it. I cant go in a hot tub anyway, because I use

the patches.

Thanks for the pot roast tips, it tasted wonderful and there are lots of

leftovers. I made Jeff a " french dip " sandwich today and he loved it. Searing

the meat is the key.

Well now that I wrote a novel about me, I better give your eyes a rest.
