Guest guest
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone is having more trouble with a certain time of day and then feels better at other times. I am having an awful time getting out of bed in the morning, and then I feel absolutely terrible once I get up. I don't start feeling better until around noon and have trouble eating all morning. It's gotten so bad I can't eat breakfast at all. I have horrible pain and pressure in my abdomen and it feels like I'm constipated, even though I'm not. I'm really weak and feel very sick. We're going on a trip to NYC this Friday and I want to have a good weekend, but I won't have the luxury of taking my time getting ready in the am since we are going with a group. I've found that by dinnertime I feel almost normal and can eat about anything I want but the beginning of the day is just intolerable. I go on Tuesday morning (at 7:30!) to have a test for bacterial overgrowth in my small intestine. This is the last test my gastro can do for me and than I have to go to UVA in Charlottesville for a second opinion if this test doesn't show something. I'm praying that it's positive and a good round of antibiotics is going to get rid of this pain and pressure. Unfortunately, my doctor will be on vacation so I won't get the treatment until after my trip, if that's what the problem is. Ever since my gall bladder surgery in May, I'm so weak and my joints hurt and my muscles are really tight. It seems like the surgery aggravated my fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome. What a bummer. I had been symptom free from those ailments for years. Hopefully doing the yoga will start to help. Sorry for the novel. I just felt SO bad when I got up this morning. I don't even want to get out of bed because I can feel that it's going to be bad. What are your worst times of day? Does anyone have a time when they can function almost normally? Guest guest
Hi....I'm a bit of a lurker but will jump in on this one! I am the opposite to you, I get up feeling good, I admit that I don't get up till around 9.30 to 10am especially in Winter, but I feel good and this is when I can get things done and don't need painkillers too much, after about 4pm it's a different story though as I start needing painkillers badly and run out of energy! Most nights I am in bed by 8pm if not earlier. On the rare occasion that I got out at night I am a mess for days afterwards. n from " down under "
