Hi Sharon,

I'm just catching up to my email since I've been away. My husband, Ed,

has suffered from Ulcerative Colitis (they thought it was Crohn's for a

many years) for about 16 years. 2 years ago they discovered the

beginning signs of Cancer in his colon so he had 90% of his colon taken

out. They knew about the PSC after taking his gall bladder out about 6

years ago (he doesn't have many parts left!). Anyway, I just want you

to know that there are others here with similar experiences and if I

(we) can help, please feel free to ask any questions.

sorry that I haven't replied to your messages yet. I am pretty slow on that.

I have been in severe pain today and yesterday.

This is the first time I have actually sat down to use the computer. But I

won't be on for long, 'cause it hurts to sit even. My legs are in so much

pain right now. I sometimes gets sharp pain in my hips.. but that's only

sometimes though. I just got done doing the dishes, which is my chore in the

house. So I feel pretty good about that. I still have laundry to do, but I

am going to rest first.

I still have yet to take my shower as well today... but like I said, when I

am in severe pain, my skin so sensative, that I avoid water... because it

will sting. You know when you get a paper cut on your finger, and you put

water on it? That's how it feels when water is on my legs. Severe pain lasts

up to 3 to 5 days. Which sucks. I haven't been getting that much headaches,

so I am happy about that. I have some allergy prescription stuff that is

working. I get sinus headaches BAD. Already had sinus surgery done in

'97. I had my appendix taken out as well 3 years ago? I think. I " ve had hip

surgey when I was 10. Along with foot surgery. (I don't remember if I

already told you all this, but if I did sorry about that) I had foot

surgery when I was in the 6th grade.

But anyway, I just wanted to say that I am sorry for not replying sooner. I

am going to go now and take my meds for the afternoon along with some pain

medication... and lay down. I hope all is well today, better than I am doing

anyway.
