Hi gang

I hope you all are doing well, if not in body at least in mind. We have

been getting snow around here this year and I have to say I am still of the

mind that it is beautiful. Can't go out in it any more, but it is lovely to

see.

Here is my cranking......

The past couple of snow storms our neighbor who is in his early 30's and

very healthy has had a truck parked inbetween our house and theirs on the

road. First couple of snow storms we thought it was just company. It

isn't. A friend lets him borrow the truck to block the snowplow from

plowing in front of his driveway. We have a parking ban in this town when

it snows but it seems that nothing is done about it because we live on a

dead end street. Anyway, with the snowplow unable to plow in front of his

driveway, he doesn't get the big pile of snow that all of us get when the

road is cleaned. Which means we (DH is kicking 60) have to use our

snowblower in the road so I can get the mail when he is at work and he can

pull the cars out to do the driveway. He is so mad this time that he said

he is going to make sure the snowblower blows all the snow, including the

sand and salt into the truck. Let them worry about it. This road is so

narrow that it is a tight squeeze to have two cars pass one another. Having

a car in the road makes for an accident waiting to happen. There is an

incline on the road and cars and slick roads don't make for a easy stop.

How can a person be so inconsiderate just to save 5 minutes of clearing out

the edge of his driveway.

DH is out there now cleaning the sidewalk and driveway and then has to go to

bed because he just got home from work and has to work again tonight (12

hour shifts). This guy works maybe 8 hours a day, but not every day.

LOL I am watching DH clear the road and sure enough he is making sure the

snow goes into the truck!!!! This is going to start petty

wars.........sigh They are still mad at us because we put in an above

ground pool last year and they can't because they yard isn't big enough

(pool has to be 15 feet away from all property lines) and if it was it is on

such an incline that it would cost a fortune to level a pool. They really

aren't bad people, just stupid.

Thanks for letting me vent.....

Need to get going here and make DH blueberry pancakes. His favorite.

in Ct.
