Guest guest
Hello. I started giving my son the methyl B12 shots just about two weeks ago (he has received 3 shots already, to be exact). And I just received by mail a liquid DMG (Kirkman brand) I had ordered over a month ago. Should I include the DMG in his supplement regime right away, or should I wait some time (maybe to see the effects of MB-12)? One other thing: in one of Dr. Neubrander's video clips, I heard that one parent went ahead and discontinued all the supplements they were giving their child before starting the MB-12 (for the same reason: to see the effects)...at least that was what I understood. Anyone else has done this? Any suggestions or experiences? Thank you once again! Regards,
Guest guest
Neubrander says to add nothing for 5 weeks so that you can see the true benefits and problems with MB12. Guest guest
Not to discredit Neubrander, but isn't his recommendation not to start anything new as much for HIS research as your observation? I don't think adding anything new would be harmful, but you then would be unclear as to what is actually benefiting/harming your child if you see changes. Guest guest
Well, Dr. Neubrander is a scientist documenting his treatment and he asks people to not add anything for 2 months!!!! What I think you should do is use the suggested frequency of every third day so that you can really see an impact. In fact, we are on daily shots as recommended by Dr. Mc. After a couple of weeks of the right dosage you can start DMG. Hope this helps, Joyce > > Not to discredit Neubrander, but isn't his recommendation not to > start anything new as much for HIS research as your observation? Guest guest
That's the difference between a scientific approach and a recovery approach - my DAN! doc who follows an agressive recovery approach believes in doing as many of the things that are necessary in as short a time possible with each particular child. He gets supplements stable then adds the quintet in 1 item every 2 weeks... He says why wait longer than necessary to add stuff in if you know the kid needs it, once you see there are no negatives from the B12 keep moving...if you want to know exactly the cause of just B12 alone you'd need to remove all the other variables but that's not necessary if you've done the testing that indicates what is needed... - near LAX " Bermúdez y/o Waldo F. Guest guest
, I know what the quintet is, but what do you mean by " adds the quintet in 1 item every 2 weeks " ? Thank you for all your input, guys! Re: Can I start DMG now or should I wait? Guest guest
Like I said, I was not discrediting Dr. Neubrander. However, some people come away with the idea that adding anything new during those first 5 weeks is physically harmful. It is not. Guest guest
Like everything don't do everything at once. Start B12 shots, wait till they are good then start folinic acid wait 2 weeks then start TD-Glut, etc... - near LAX " Bermúdez y/o Waldo F. Guest guest
Ok. I think it's the right thing to do...Wait a couple of weeks and move on. He's a pretty fast responder, so I hope I'll know when it's time to try new things. Thanks, everyone! Re: Can I start DMG now or should I wait? Like everything don't do everything at once.
