Guest guest
Hey , I had a partial hysterectomy and bladder suspension when I was 35. I was in the last stage of prolapse when the surgery was done and my gyn said it was quite rare to be so late in the prolapse stage at my age. When I asked if it could have been from having four children so close together, she said yeah, it could, but she didn't think so. I just had/have no abdominal muscles to speak of which she was strange because I was so fit. Now we all know why the prolapse happened - my nsg said, when I was diagnosed almost a year later, that it's quite common to not have abdominal muscles because of the nerve damage caused by the LMC. Kathy R:Relationships & Childbirth Hi Kathy It was interesting about the childirth thing because after I had the 2 children I had to have a hysterectomy and bladder repair at 32.I had lost a lot sensation at that stage.I had a tear with the first child and Dr did an episiotomy with the second. The Dr that did the hyster said he would also tighten things up a bit and jokingly said I'll have you feeling like a 16 year old, and he did!!Now its a different numbness and a lot of pain. You know what its like, hips hurt, can't lay on the back but my is a lot of internal stuff as well. Not sure if this is a gyno prob or a TCS one. Have had this constant pain like in the bladder almost like bad period pain. Not sure if this gyno related or TCS?Have noticed a lot of change in bladder function. How do you know when is the right time for surgery? Is there ever a " right " time. I can understand what you say about the intimacy. The feeling you can have for someone when it is so intense and giving them pleasure is sometimes enough in itself. You are fulfilled both emotionally and physically. To think yourself there is would be more rewarding than anything. You sound like you have a really great guy.Maybe you should have him cloned! lol What do you guys call your thanksgiving? When do you have that?Do you celebrate Xmas as well? Anyway whenever it is Happy Thanksgiving to you all.Hope you all have a healthly, happy and safe one Regards
