It's good to hear you with so much more fight in you today. Re your comment a bout leaving home, well when I was in that situation he left home and I am still in that house 10 years later. I had a wonderful solicitor who negotiated on my behalf, long story, but in Britain if you have kids under 15 then the wife gets to stay in the house, the husband has to leave. Don't know if it's the same in US but worth thinking about. Yes you stand up for yourself, no one has the right to make another person unhappy.
