Update on SSD case..saga continues....ugh

Just a quick email. Ill be posting more and keeping updated..its just hard

right now with dial up but i am still 'here'

Ok as you all know I was approved for SSD on aug 8th , my lawyer was paid

soon after and I am waiting yet for my back pay. I have been getting 700

monthly for past 2 months which is good but no back pay yet.

Ive contacted my lawyer several times and he said they wont talk to him

about this cause of hippa rules or what not. So I have been calling weekly,

several times a week and no dang answer...they say its in baltimore and when

they get to it itll be sent to my bank acct.

Oh and i know ill have to pay my LTD policy back but my lawyer said hed

negotiate so i should be seeing about 25k or so thank god!!!!

Lawyer said it may be cause its well over 40k but i dont know.

We are going broke quick with this move but my parents and his helped us and

we will pay them back when my money comes...i thank god for their help cause

we love this house so very much.

we want to buy it eventually and the realtor said that is probably an

option:)

Anyways I called this morning cause our propane bill was over 400 bucks and

this is what they told me......They had to verify i wasnt getting any SSI

(which im not) and this lady was the most helpful of anyone Ive spoken with.

She said shes sending them a message in baltimore to review my case and I

should be hearing from them soon.

Please pray that this check comes soon cause i really want more then

anything to pay back our family and get some things we need for house like a

stove and washer...and be able to buy some nice things for those whove

helped us.

Im also having my mom help me this week look into ssd supplements so that i

can get my nerve blocks (im only 5-10 mins from my dr now:) and also have

better treatment options/meds for my rsd.

Ok im gonna sign off here before i get kicked off. our small fridge just got

delivered so we are gonna go get some groceries. I hope this finds you all

doing ok...my pain levels are up due to the rain were getting and also the

stress of this all lol.

Im so thankful to my our family and especially dennis cause if it wasnt for

him this move wouldnt have happened.

Congrats on the new house - I'm so happy for you!

My back SSD payment took a few months. Don't give up - they'll get to you

eventually. I think they just get really backed up, but I'm sure it's coming.

I'll be thinking about you and hoping for that check!
