Hi ... I have been out of the loop here for a bit, but wanted to welcome all

the new folks!

For your experienced folks, I have a question .. in your opinion, is

plaquenil alone enough to stop future joint damage?

I am taking it -- just the 200 mg. now because my white blood cell count

drops when we increase it. I am feeling OK with it ... not great, but OK.

What are your wise thoughts?

Thank you!

Love and Prayers,

Beth

Thank you Rae for your response. I am going to talk with my rheumy about

this when I see her next Wednesday. The problem I have is that once we get a

treatment plan going, I tend to get a low white blood cell count or high liver

enzymes -- then we have to back off a bit. Frustrating. I am concerned

about future damage so, we will have our chat Wednesday.

Thanks again!
