Guest guest
It IS a good idea! A few months ago, a very sweet man from our church passed away at the age of 91. Henry had touched everyone's lives in a positive way. His son-in-law wrote a tribute to him, read at his funeral. I thought to myself, " why wait until someone has died to write their tribute? " So I have started a book of tributes to people I know or have known, friends, family, teachers, even people I have not met personally who have had a positive effect on my life. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us! Judi

Guest guest
I think that's an awesome idea! We are on the same wavelength! For my daughter's 18th birthday, I am making a scrapbook for her. I emailed all her teachers, friends, family and church family and asked them to write something for her scrapbook. You see, she has been singing for school and civic functions for years, and is very well known and loved in our community. She is going to be amazed at the things that people have written her. We're giving it to her Friday on her birthday, and her girlfriends have a big evening and sleepover planned, after we spend the day shopping or whatever she wants to do. I've learned that we do need to tell people how we feel while we have the chance, because none of us are promised tomorrow. It's the little things that you can't put a price on- a bunch of flowers picked by little hands, a picture for the refrigerator door, an unexpected hug....those are the things that last in your heart.
