Guest guest
Hi guys, just wandering if anyone else had had chronic sinus infections from Humaria???? I started taking it and 4 days later had a horrible case of sinusitis which led to bronchitis. THen it cleared up somewhat but each time I took a dose of Humaria, the sinus problems came back. ON top of all that - I felt no relief at all!! Anyone else out there had similar experiences????
Guest guest
Hi, My name is Kelli. I take Humira and I have not experienced any sinus infections, or any strange side effets for that matter. I've been taking it for around 4 months now. I believe I didn't feel any sort of relief until maybe around mid-November, but my doctor did tell me it takes 4-6 months of taking the injections on a regular basis to see the full benefits. I still have more pain than I think I should. Actually when I saw my doctor a few weeks ago he told me that if on my regular 8 week visit if I still wasn't feeling good on a consistent basis he would maybe try me on another one of the injection medications. Hope you feel better, and hope this helps some. Guest guest
Hi, I also take Humira, and haven't experienced any sinus infections. When I first started taking the Humira, it worked very quickly. Then it seemed to not work as well after a few months. I now take Methotrexate with it, and it works much better. It might take awhile, it depends on each individual. I would talk to the rheumy about your infections your having. Take care, Tawny --- In , " krisanna80 " <krisanna80@y...> wrote: > > Hi guys, just wandering if anyone else had had chronic sinus > infections from Humaria???? Guest guest
Hi Re: Humira I had one dose while living in Florida and ended up in the hospital with a doozie of a sinus infections...they put me on IV antibiotics. I didn't want to go off of it because Humira worked even after one dose but they took me off saying too risky. I seem to get at least 8 sinus infections per year but no ENT can figure out why. CAT scan are negative. Now 2 yrs later the Rheumatologist at Hershey Med Ctr wants to restart Humira next week but put me on weekly antibiotics also...Not sure what I am going to do. Not sure if this helps but hope so. Joanne
