Guest guest
The factory 3 doors away from me switched to an insurance I dont take! It's been a fast lesson in what an EPO is, as it basically forbids patient to see anyone out of network. From a rough search while I'm home sick with cold turned sinus infection it looks like I will loose at least 7% of my practice. (of course I may get them back in a year since this company changes yearly!) So my question is it really legal for them to say the patient can't pay me out of pocket? Some are asking. My fear then is that referrals, labs and tests will not be paid for. I asked the company to post a flyer since many would schedule, see me then I would go to collect the co-pay at the end of visit and find out they are on a new card! I had at least one person in tears since I take care of her home bound dad who retired from the company.
