Guest guest
Don't you just hate bags like that? And any containers that need large, heavy tools to open. Like a hammer and chisel? Getting so I'm having difficulty opening up pop top cans. Glad you got a good night sleep. Well, I finally broke down last night and purchased one of the memory foam mattress toppers at Target. ($59.99 for full/queen size.) It is SO comfy! I slept all night long for the first time in...I can't remember! I woke up with much less soreness than usual. I normally wake up numerous times from pressure points hurting, esp. knees, hips, and shoulders. It was quite a splurge for me, but the best money I've invested in a long time. The only drawback was getting trying to get it out of the darn zipper bag, it was like trying to pull a calf! ) I finally just ripped the bag apart, went fine after that. Guest guest
I know-for instance, take those chip bags and the plastic liners in some cereal boxes. Those things are so hard to pull apart it's like they're sealing up diamonds or something. I finally take the kitchen shears to them, which I'm sure drives my very neat daughter nuts but she's too sweet to say anything. Pop cans I take a quarter to, or a butter knife. In our house, the butter knives that already have bent- up tips on them are designated as " Mom Screwdrivers. " ) Jane > > Don't you just hate bags like that? Guest guest
Jane: Thank you so much for posting about the memory foam. I've been eyeing these for a little while now, and debated on whether or not to purchase one. I'm certain that if I don't like it, someone else in my house will. I have a memory foam pillow, and find it comfortable. I'm sure the mattress topper will be just as good. in Canada --- In , " JANE " <janeatregis@y...> wrote: > > Blessings to the group and Happy Friday! Guest guest
Just a word of advice about these toppers. If your mattress has any dips or springs pushing through, this topper won't help. I bought a new king size mattress and it felt great at first, but then it started to sag in the center of each box spring. I thought maybe the topper would help. It did at first, but then it sagged, too. I ended up cutting a piece of ply wood to fit on each box spring, put the mattress on top of that and then the topper. Now, that's the ticket!! When you turn your mattress, make sure you turn your memory foam as well. Otherwise it may retain the shape of the mattress. I know several people who bought the temperpedic mattress and they love it!! I just don't want to dedicate that much money since I bought this king size matress and box springs. As for the wrapper... well, that was theraputic too!! :-) nothing like a random act of destruction to make you feel better!!!....Marina
