Guest guest Posted February 12, 2005 Report Share Posted February 12, 2005 Hi again... Seeing as I am new to all of this, I was wondering how many of you are able to work full-time. Prior to be diagnosed and taking ill in December, I worked 40-50 hours a week. Now that I am off sick, I spend most of my day resting or slowly trying to get the easy stuff done around the house. I am booked off work by my Rheumatologist until at least June, but don't know if I can return to the same job due to the physical demands. Is it possible to find a balance of meds that allows people with severe RA to lead a " normal " life? Can I support my family again by one day being able to hold down a job? How debilitating is this?
