Guest guest
Hi , Re questions to ask your mum's doctor....I have always when seeing a new doctor tried to get an absolutely clear view of what he thinks I should do when I suspect I have an infection (sometimes called an exacerbation). It is very important at your mum's age not to let an infection worsen to the point that more lung tissue is compromised. this can happen quite quickly, not to frighten you but to help you understand that treatment sooner rather than later is better. Many of us who have had bronch for a long time are a little 'gunshy' of drs. and try to tough it out! Not a good strategy!
