Obviously the message is equally important as is its reception

just to be picky ;] i always thought a message differed fr a thought in that it implied a 2-way communication. were i to express myself in chinese -wish i cld! - my message wld be for naught most likely on j-f.....yet be valuable as a thought but not efficient as a message. i trust my logic here is not fallacious.

here is an example i treasure fr an old copy of the new yorker -
