Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I saw your question about pain blocks and just wanted to reply quick. I had 3 nerve blocks over the past 5 yrs. First one was ok and did help me a bit. I went into get a cathetor put in where they put the injection and then i went back for 4 straight days to get injections. That was fine but no lasting effect. Plus it was horrible trying to get around my house with that in back. The second and third ones were just the one time one day nerve blocks. Those KILLED me and while my leg was a bit numb my back hurt so bad. My dr mentions me getting more nerve blocks by him when i get ssd but i really dont know if ill do it. I may do it once since he hasnt done them on me before. The other one was basically a bad experience. Its with everything- some people may get relief. I hoe you feel better!!! > > Has anyone had experience with pain blocks and trigger point injections? > I had a pain block about 4 days ago and Man, do I hurt! I'm supposed to > go in 2 weeks for trigger point injections and I'm not so sure I want > to go thru it again. I was told there wouldn't be a rebound after this > and also was told that the pain block was a one time thing. > Is it normal to hurt as bad after a pain block? > Any comments are welcome. > > > -- ~*~~*~ Happy Holidays from me and my family to you and yours!
