Guest guest
Hi Vicki-read your post --cant help you with the devices but or vcr but can answer a couple of other queries ---just to let you know i have a little knowledge i am a registered nurse and worked for 27andhalf years in a unit where we have daily contact with ciritically ill people --these people get life threatening infections --by feeding them high protein diet -often via a tube many survived who should have died...._I;earned a lot from the dieticians there who eductated us on the protein connection --I wont go into the long version but basically if your blood protein levels are low your bodies ability to fight infection is diminished----I eat a LOT of yogurt --also you can purchase high protein powders at the supermarkets -- Your body uses calcium and magnesium at the rate required -it used in ever cell of the body--the drugs --the infections --inflammation all chew up extra of these minerals---if its not available its taken from our bones--people with bronchiectasis are VERY much more prone to osteoporosis --I found this out after having a shattered wrist--fractured pelvis in 4 places + ribs which break just from coughing too much --not even my Dr made me aware of this risk --because i exercised --ran marathons along with many other exercises I thought i would be safe- I'm not sure what you do for work but i haven worked full time for what seems like eternity---most of us with severe bronch have had to sacrifice our work ---or retire altogether _-I'm forutnate that i am still able to work part-time but have moved out of the big hospital whre resistant bacteria are rife --if you are exposed to many people or young children you will probably get more infections as a result ---with having bronch your immune system is compromised . I have had bronch since 1971 so it can be managed --I competed heavi;ly in sport till 2000 --I tried many "herbal " remedies and so called natural antibitoics over the years but in the end it made NO difference --have you ever had cultures to see what bacteria you might have--- Sounds like you have a busy life--nice to meet you online --cheers Del No virus found in this outgoing message.
