Guest guest
Hi everyone, I want to thank everyone who's praying for my Mom. The test that she had done today didn't show anything so they're ordering a different test. She told me that she tried to eat a piece of meat loaf after she got home from the hosp. and ended up throwing it up because she couldn't get it to go down. All of this really scares me, I know that God's in control, but I'm still afraid. I'll keep you informed. Guest guest
Jane, My heart goes out to your grandchildren. What a terrible thing, this is so awful. That is one thing I hate, a child molester. I'm glad he is back in jail, and hope he is there forever. That is sad that they have to go through this court, see the monster that hurt them, for him to get his punishment. I would think they could talk to the judge in his chambers. I will strongly keep the babies in my prayers, along with the whole family. This is very hard for the family, I can't imagine how I would feel if this happened to my child. It's hard to be strong, when your children our hurt. God bless, Tawny > > I have not told anyone about this, but it's driving me crazy. Guest guest
Dearest Jane, I wish I could just reach out and give you a huge, painless hug! There are no words I can use to adequately express how sorry I am that you, your daughter and grand kids are going thru this mess. This is exactly one of those things that truly does not make any sense and my imagination for what kind of punishment " should " be metered out is pretty bad . I will pray for a legion of angels to shadow each of you as you deal with this! I feel speechless and inept when it comes to trying to express the emotions you must be blasted with. I am sorry! Love, Carol M. in CA

Guest guest
Jane- I am not licensed in Texas- so my response cannot be " gospel " but I did do neglect abuse work in Michigan when I was in private practice. There are ways to make it easier for children to testify- but their testimony unfortunately is crucial. Speak to the prosecutor and to ever is handling their counseling - and make sure they are adequately prepared. It seems horrific -but the process is meant to be balanced.- We know the family member who did this in this instance is scum. There are unfortunately people who are also scum who manipulate kids into blaming folks for their own malicious agenda. See a counselor who is skilled in this process. I will keep you in my prayers- including the prayer that this particular scum pleads before there is ever a need for a trial - and so that your babies don't need to testify. Guest guest
Jane, I will certainly keep your daughter and her children in my prayers-- as you can tell from my recent posts, I can understand how you feel. Whenever TJ (the 5-year old) has visited his father, he came home very belligerent and with a foul mouth. Duane is addicted to pornography, and I'm sure TJ has seen some of it. Her current husband (Duane's half brother) is completely the opposite, and a loving husband and father. I wish them well, Judi

Guest guest
Jane, That is an awful thing your grandkids went through. It difficult for children to have to face their attacker, even in the safe cinfines of a courtroom. Has the therapist been working with them to prepare them for the court appearance? Maybe the attacker will talk about what he did to other prisoners. Justice would be served if he does. If there is one thing ALL prisoners will not stand for is a person who harms chilren in that way. There was a man who lived across the street from this little girl not more than 15 miles from where I live. He kidnapped her, tied her up, and molested her in his attic. He even helped the search parties look for her. When they finally found her and threw his ass in jail, he went through court, was found guilty, and sent to prison. Well this guy couldn't keep his mouth shut and just bragged about what he did. There was another prisoner who was in for murder who heard what he was bragging about. He killed the child molester while in prison, stating that he was already in for murder, what was one more?!?! He also said there is one thing you DON'T bragg about in prison, and that is harming children. I don't condone what he did, but I have to admit, I was secretly glad that n one had to worry about his release. The father of that little girl went to the prison to personally thank the murderer for what he did because the prisoner did what the father wanted to do, and he also no longer has to be worried for his little girl or any other child if the molester were to be released. I'm sure it makes it more difficult when it's a member of the family. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through, but I pray that the proper outcome happens for you and your family so that you may get on with your lives and that they may get on with their childhood without fear......Love and Prayer...Marina > > I have not told anyone about this, but it's driving me crazy.
