Guest guest
Dear Jan, First of all, I think it is touching and wonderful that you are supporting in all aspects of coping with her disease. Many people on here have suffered more because their partners were not helpful or understanding in the face of these monsters of autoimmunity. Second, I know next to nothing about AS, but I was wondering if it would help to have a back brace made in which could sleep. I know that many of us sleep in wrist and other type of braces to give our joints a rest and to support them. I am thinking that it is possible that such a back brace might keep her back straight and, after she gets used to it, actually aid sleeping and hinder curving the spine. What do you think? Guest guest
>I think that we all should be allowed to talk about whatever is on our minds. People are not just talking about presidential debates and the like. They are discussing heath care and I think that it is an appropriate place My two cents....people get sooooo stressed out when discussing politics...I am not generally in favor of censorship, but think partisan politics have no place here. Just my opinion. Discussions tend to degenerate into all out wars.....I am in favor of discussions such as " This bill is important to us, write your congressman " and things along those lines, but US *partisan* politics.....in an international group.....I humbly request that if you just *must* discuss it, please mark posts with POLITICS in all caps so those of us who do not like to see emotional bloodshed can pass it by, or take it to a political discussion board/newsgroup. ; ) Liz G
