I thank you for this clarification. I thought they were also Paramedics but

wasn't sure. I have NO difficulty with the RN/Paramedic combination. They

are two separate disciplines which CAN complement each other very well.

However, to be perfectly honest, I look forward to the day when all

Paramedics will have just as good or better general and medical education as

the RNs.

Before you get out the lighter fluid, read my fingertips: I said " when all

Paramedics. " There are certainly many out there who have this kind of

education without an RN and I'm not meaning to defame them (or anybody else I

hope).
