Guest guest
Hi Victor , Welcome to the happy fibbers association . Metoprolol is a beta blocker in fact any med ending in LOL is a beta blocker. I too suffer with asthma and I was informed many years ago that patients with Asthma should not take a beta blocker as there is a contra indication It may be you Asthma is very mild so this will not affect you but its worth knowing this. I always check with my Pharmacy if I take any newly prescribed medication. I would always encourage any of our board to do this as Dr are very clinical but the Pharmacists usually hears first of any problems with any drugs and are usually more helpful.than Drs. That's my experience in the UK . I hope that helps and we hope you enjoy our board. Regards C Hornchurch Essex England > I am 37 years old and the only other health issue I have is a very > mild case of asthma. > > Toprol is metoprolol succinate, whatever that means It isn't a UK > product as I live in Ohio ********************************************************************** This message may contain information which is confidential or privileged.
