Guest guest
No mice that we're aware of...our cats are both indoor & great mousers, so we're not too concerned about that. I am concerned about getting the place bug bombed. It seems it may be my only resort but how to deal with the toxicity for the children? My son with autism & ADHD son are well supplemented, but then there's the 20mo old...I don't want her normal development compromised. Is there something to " boost " them or protect them in case I need to have this done? (Andy??) I will look into dustmitex too, but we've been trying lots of natural/non toxic stuff & it's not helping much so far. The cats are going in to the vet tomorrow to be sure they are flea free, but they were treated with Frontline over a week ago. Thanks, Michele >Message: 10 > Date: Thu, 13 Nov 2003 05:19:41 -0000 > From: " Debi " <fightingautism@...> >Subject: Re: Need OT Help Please - Fleas! > >Do you think it's possible you might have a mice infestation? THey are so nice and soft (Down) I can't imagine other materials would be as comfy. ANd I really don't want to spend $300 to replace all the pillows I have (European style, for relaxing in bed) .. .. >>>> Put some Tea Tree Oil in the drier along with the pillows and then put a few drops of Tea Tree Oil on a cotton ball and place it under your pillow in your bed. Also put a few drops on your furnace's filter monthly. Tea Tree oil is now available at WalMart for $5.00 for two ounces, a real bargain. Tea Tree oil is a powerful antifungal. Guest guest
Nil Bromelain is in pineapple. You may just want to eat fresh pineapple or even canner pineapple daily. Also consider fish oil for it's anti inflammatory properties, 9 grams a day. It takes a lot of tumeric daily to provide the COX-2 inhibition, so don't be stingy with it. I do not use aspirin, though you may find small amounts helpful. Spine surgery is not without risks. mjh In a message dated 10/24/2005 8:14:34 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2005 19:10:38 +0300 From: " yildiz " <yildiz22@...> Subject: anti-inflammatory for muscles, ligaments Hi all, I visited a doctor for my tailbone injury problem. He tried to manipulate but operation was unsuccessful. He said it moved was behind and was not moving back. he said there was inflammation. He gave me one agent which is anti-inflammatory and pain killer and wanted me to use it for three months. He said if my discomfort does not go away within three months he would give me an injection on coccyx area(did not ask what that injection was) and if that also does not help he would think of surgery. I don't wish to use this medicine because of the reasons you might guess and wishing to replace it with a natural alternatives.I am thinking to use Bromelain mainly as I read that its anti inflammatory effect is mainly on muscles and/or ligaments. Would you think that is a correct choice? Would 5000 m.c.u. 3 times a day be a correct dosage. Should I take more or less? Should I add any other agents to that like aspirin or vit D? If I also take aspirin 100 mg 1 or two times a day would that be too much blood thinning?I am already having some extra turmeric, onions and garlic. I am also planning to have daily castor oil applications on the area. If I can successfully relieve the inflammation I am planning to have it to be manipulated once more. I can not think of having an operation because of known reasons. So,this subject is very important for me. Thanks very much in advance. Guest guest
Nil Another thing to consider here is muscle spasms which also can keep the bones from going back where they belong and staying there. THe solution for me with spine issues is adequate amounts of Magnesium with its B6 cofactor. Hope this helps mjh In a message dated 10/24/2005 8:14:34 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: Message: 13 Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2005 21:28:18 +0300 From: " yildiz " <yildiz22@...> Subject: Re: coccyx out of alignment Thanks ,Marcia and Bill , That is also what I wish to do. It was adjusted three times before I saw this doctor. For some reason it moved back to its injured position after each adjustment.I could not rest after the adjustments. This could be the reason or this is a problem related to my muscles and or ligaments.I don't know..This doctor is an orthopedist but he also makes adjustments. He used rectum. He told me that he could not move it back because there was an inflammation. So,assuming that what he says is correct,I am thinking to reduce the inflammation. After reducing the inflammation a bit,I am planning to re-visit him or find another chiro who can adjust it. Marcia, Few years! God! Very difficult.. Thanks for caring. Nil ----- mjh " The Basil Book " http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
Guest guest
I Think putting your pillows on high in the drier is much safer than using tea tree oil. A lot of people react to tea tree oil
