Guest guest
Sue, I am using 25 mg and just recently went in for a check up with RA doctor and she asked me if I wanted to change to 50 mg and I said NO..........lol I have been reading post from everyone about how dull the needles are and the fact that the 50 mg doesn't seem to last all week. So I decided to stay on 25 mg. for now. There is something about that 3rd child........<smile> I haven't ever recovered from my third one either......8 lbs 9 oz........ouch! Still have the stomach not to mention the stretch marks but gotta love'm.......... Thanks for the info regarding giving shots in stomach. I am going to try and give my next shot in my stomach. Right now I am ill with the head and chest congestion and on antibiotics so I've had to put off giving myself my shot. I hope I can last till I get of antibiotics. I have quite a bit of territory to work with, unfortunately. I usually alternate sides. I lost weight several years ago, but I didn't get a flat stomach as a result. My stomach never did recover from the birth of my third child, who weighed 9 lb. 7 oz. Are you using the 25mg or the 50mg? Guest guest
Hi…I grab skin in my hand and shoot it there. That’s where I do my immitrex shots to. Do about 1 ½ inches away from belly button and alternate sides of your stomach (give the shot on your rightside and the next one of your left..right then left..) I much prefer it on my stomach than my leg although I have taken in both. Hope that helps kelly

Guest guest
Hi Wanda, I always do my Enbrel shots in my stomach. Doesn't the data sheet in your Enbrel pack have a diagram showing you where to aim for? I follow this and have never had a problem. It's important to rotate the injection sites, so I just move from left to right and up and down and then start again. n [ ] Re: Sue (Enbrel shots in stomach) In a message dated 2/13/2005 3:53:53 P.M.
