Guest guest
hmm. My oldest daughter has an umbilical hernia that still hasn't closed completely at age 10. I wonder if I should take her in for a second opinion on it. I asked years ago if it would cause her trouble in the future and was told no but I was also told it would close completely over time. Guest guest
I would. Definitely. had a hernia as a baby and they told us if we had not gotten it operated that it could have burst open later in life (even waiting until he was an adult) and caused him a major infection and other problems some of which could have turned life-threatening if not caught in time. We took him to a ureologist for his hernia and operation. It was a simple out-patient surgery, it took three hours and he was home that afternoon. He was himself again after 3 or 4 days.... --- Alenna wrote: > hmm. My oldest daughter has an umbilical hernia that > still hasn't closed completely at age 10. Guest guest
It sure is a nasty circle and I would not be able to get it right now anyway for any reason.... I just can't imagine doing the same things I was doing last year (and I was not working then, I have not worked for 6 years but 2 of those were due to pregnancy)..the last 8 months have been really hard.. Something will happen though, it always does, a little faith goes a long way.. :c) Thanks for writing and I'm sorry I have not been here to welcome you to the group!!! I'm glad you joined and hope we can chat again soon!!!!!! April Hi there I'm new here but I just wanted to tell you that having fibro unfortunately isn't always easy to get disability with. They don't understand how hard it is for us to work. My doctor told me I was able to get it because of my major depression which is from the fibro so I guess its a vicious circle.
