Guest guest Posted February 16, 2005 Report Share Posted February 16, 2005 Dear friends, Keep those prayers and good thoughts coming. Sharon will have a biopsy on Monday 2-21-05,at 9 a.m.. She saw the surgeon yesterday. He is sure mass sited on the mammogram is a cyst- so is not worried about that but...( why is there always a but...) the ultrasound last week show a miniscule (4mmX5mmX4mm) solid mass that was not detected on the mammogram. He thinks everything points to that being benign too but he cannot leave it to chance because it is a solid mass. He will excise on Monday and biopsy it.I have Monday off for Presidents day and weather permitting will go down and take her and take her home. On the off chance it is a malignancy it would be very early detection - which is still a good thing. Your prayers mean more than I can say. I will continue to keep you updated.
