Guest guest
Hi a...this was of great interest to me. The type of baritric surgery I had (BPD/DS) produces a fairly high rate of malabsorption. Vit D and calcium are two things we must diligently watch. Curently I take a Vit D gel cap with 50,000iu 3 times a week, as well as 2000mg of calcium (mostly citrate, some carbonate) to hopefuly avoid issues those who have gone before me had to face. A always, I do so much appreciate te information. Love & hugs... Tess
Guest guest
Hi Tess. I know malabsorption is a special concern for you. I hope the supplements you are taking will stop any problems from happening. Many members have irritation of the stomach lining from meds, and that could also interfere with absorption. Hopefully everyone will pay close attention and eat a healthy diet as well as supplement if the need be. a On Wed, 16 Feb 2005 18:00:46 -0800, Grammi_Love@... <Grammi_Love@...> wrote: > Hi a...this was of great interest to me.
