Was chemo mentioned in Feb or March?

When we received the original diagnosis from the urologist in Feb we were told that once he got the Lupron shot everything would be fine and he could go 10+ years before the cancer started growing and he would need chemo/radiation. We had to demand to see an oncologist even then. And the oncologist also said we should have years before the cancer started to grow again. Obviously Dale is not normal. Peace on the journey,Juel captwildchild@...

Hi Juel,

I am sorry to hear about Dale's cancer. But you are wrong- Dale is

normal. However, we are all different. What may work for some,

may not work for someone else. There is so much that we do not

know about this damned disease. But you cannot give up- keep

trying-

Are they repeating the PSA? Could it be a lab error?

Aubrey, thank you. I know Dale is normal, but it is a family joke that none of them can do anything normally. His family has a history of getting sick in abnormal ways. So whenever they get news like this they say, "We s never do anything the normal way." It is a badge of honor. Even when the news is upsetting. Cuts the tension a bit. I guess the reason why the PSA doesn't matter to me is that we are doing the chemo regardless. We know the cancer is growing from bone scans, MRIs, and Dale's deteriorating health. We know the radiation is not enough. Knowing that the PSA is 4.87 vs 487 doesn't change things for us at this point. But I have suggested to Dale that he ask for a double check.
