I just sent the following to Onelist using the feedback form:

I received SPAM in my email in the diabetes_intonelist and others. I

looked at the headers and conducted an experment. I changed my SMTP server

to mta1.onelist.com and tried to send a message to diabetes_intonelist

and it DID WORK The good news is I also tried to send an email to my work

address using this smtp server and it DID NOT WORK. PLEASE FIX THIS

PROBLEM.

In a message dated 00-07-14 09:16:22 EDT, you write:

Hahahahaha, I feel like I am in loony-toonyville. This is more or less a

test. Something that I posted two days ago just showed up here this AM and

one that I posted one day ago showed up late last night. So just testing to

see if this comes through at a decent time. BTW it is now 6:13 AM Pacific

I'm looking at the ISPs of everyone who complains of slow mail. Is there

anyone out there who is using a service other than America Online, or one of

the freebies such as Juno or Hotmail, who is having problems? I have been

with two ISPs since joining this list - Mindspring (which won awards two

years running for the best anti-spam software and best customer satisfaction

in the business) and a decent local ISP. I have never ever had my sends to

" diabetes_int " take more than a few minutes.

To the people whose mail is slow ... what proof do you have that it is not

your own ISP? How else to explain why most of us are getting our posts

promptly?

The reason I dropped AOL was due to inconsistant mail delivery. For me,

the web is communication, and they constantly screwed it up.
