Guest guest
I am on the birth control pill since when I was 20 (now 26) even if I stopped for a year and half. I started using it much before any sign of VVS or any yeast infection and I changed 4 types. The doctor who is helping me treating the VVS wanted me to change the pill to one who had more feminine hormones than masculine I think because of the action those hormones can have (like estrace); anyway I don't think this helped or worsened my situation. I noticed a weight gain while using the pill, not much, more like a water retention. When 2 years ago I stopped the pill I immediately (in few weeks) " dried " myself (hope you understand what I mean). Just a quick note to remind that for me it is a kind of must because of my PCOS (polycistic ovary syndrome); for this last thing the pill has really helped a lot. ciao Chiara
