In February I hatched a plan to get our local supermarket to put organ donation brochures and bone marrow transplant brochures in their pharmacies. Because I was so sick in March, April, May and so on... Jim took over for me. He has just talked again with the assistant pharmacy director and they are going ahead with the brochures and want supporting information, etc. He had been waiting for new racks to be designed and made for all of the informational brochures, but he said that they will go ahead NOW. The brochures will go into all of the NY stores. If any of you live near a Wegmans Supermarket, look for them in the near future. My husband is a great guy! But, I should mention that he's worked for Wegmans for almost 25 yrs. as their credit mgr. and banking operations mgr. I kinda thought that they OWED me this. On the funny coincidence side, our friend Dave is likely to be doing the ed. programs for the campaign. That'll keep him out of mischief......maybe.
