I wish I could tell you the difference cause I never tried the other one. and I was not aware of other talking ones. I don't understand why they don't want to listen to their customers who use the thing everyday! The Acu check reads 30-50 points higher than the One Touch Profile from Lifescan for some reason, but the acu check is much easier to use. I would never go back to using Lifescan's meter again.
