Guest guest
Thanks Sher, Debbie said she sounded home sick. Then ask how I am doing. Then said she wants to divorce the whole family..I told Debbie to tell her " Mamma said that is not allowed " . She also said she may call me. I can not believe this is happening. Sometimes I just don't let myself think about her. It's toooooo painful. And I don't need that right now. So Just help me by continuing to pray for her safety. And for her mind to return to normal.. Guest guest
Peggy from Sher...Just keep on keepin' on dear heart. Work hard on forgiveness. When we really can, we feel such relief. I was never the same person after I was able to truly forgive my wayward daughter and turn her over to God. I wish I knew why some of us have such struggles with life and realities of life. Some never deal with what we have. I know you know what I'm talking about...our conversations on the phone. One day at a time. Hugs. Sher KennyHi everyone, Kenny had a better day. Guest guest
Thank You Sher, I have turned all these things over to God but I am such a weakling when it comes to my family and friends. I have always been the fixer.. I make myself crazy. You are such a roll model. I am trying. I think of all you went through and try harder. Talk to ya later.. Use your O2.. Guest guest
Oh Peggy, I don't see myself as a "role model" only someone who knows the hurt you are going through with your kids. We mothers are all 'fixer's'. We were trained that way. I learned for me, that I wanted to 'fix' her so 'I' wouldn't have to cope with her problems/consequences! Took me a long time to see that in myself.... Zoe is coming over tonight so we can attempt, once again, to mend our fragile relationship. Now think about this. She is now 36, I'm 68 and we're still trying! I know, I know, at least we're still trying. The 18 years we were fractured while she did her drug-thing is what we are trying to patch. It's like a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing...you don't know they're missing until the puzzle is nearly finished. Do I finish the puzzle with the gaps of missing pieces or scramble the puzzle and put it away? I'll keep trying... I can do it now because I've learned when to let go. I'm using my o2 more...thanks for the steady reminders. Peggy, don't "try harder"....let go sooner. Read your Let Go ditty...... Love to you. Sher ipf 5-06 KennyHi everyone, Kenny had a better day. Guest guest
Hi Group, Well is on the way to bring Kenny HOME. One week and 1/2 days. Sure beats 3 weeks plus.. I do Praise Him. Hope everyone is well. I'm doing fine. Still trying to figure out this Insurance policy choice. I think I am thick headed, I just don't understand all I need to about this stuff. The financial Dept at Shands says they look to see that you have good RX coverage. You need to be sure you can afford the out of pocket. And to look at the lifetime maximum. Boy that sounds like it should be simple...NOT.. Oh well, I just gonna go take a nap.. Love and prayers to all..Peggy 9/04 ipf
