Guest guest
> Beverly, I had similar symptoms. I was having bronchial spasms with my asthma. I had trouble swollowing. I lost my voice for over 6 months. All of this was due to a toxic mold infested work place. The coughing from my asthma caused me to get a hernia and damaged my espophogus and vocal cords. The hernia causes acid reflux. Acid reflux agrevates the asthma. When you lay down at night, the acid comes up into your throat more and causes you to cough and gag worse. Put the head end of your bed up on 6 " blocks. This will help keep the acid from coming up at night. I am being treated by an Ear-Nose-Throat specialist,a gastroenterologist, and an allergist. It has taken almost a year of medication, shots and 3 surgeries, but I am doing better...that and I quit my job! Hope that this information helps! Guest guest
Ginger, Read the description of the group. Perhaps one day you will understand why such topics are discussed. Your anger seems unwarranted. In a message dated 2/12/2005 12:55:16 PM Central Standard Time, gingerc@... writes: , I have no idea who you or what your situation is. I have three in my family and four of my closest friends who are RNs or ARNPs and they are very knowledgeable sources for me to talk with no matter what their area of specialization. I don't have problems with doctors withholding meds from me and I'm not going to be advocating any major political movements these days. So I'm going to sign off rather than having to weed through all your posts. One final question: Some lists I'm on regulate people to no more than three, hundred-line posts per day. If there were a way to limit to that, I'd stay on the list. Guest guest
Re: Re: die off Sounds like die off to me! I would just increase by one teaspoon a day for 5 days and than add another. Or you can just go for it and put up with the intense die off for awhile and get it over with. Vitamin C, magnesium, and rest helps me when I am going through severe die off.
